Film “Gulliver’s Travel”

            This is a kind of adventure comedy film. Adventure film often contains many impossible things. The impossible things also exist in this film. At the beginning, there is no something strange in the story. But then, the strange thing emerges from the unpredictable story. When we watch a film about adventure, we may predict that in the film there are some unique things such as monster, mystery box, and other mysterious things.

            In this film, you may have a wrong prediction for the plot of the story. When you watch the film in the part of Gulliver (the main character) is sailing, you may predict that he will get lost to a strange island. In the island, he will find many wicked things or fierce animals. But that is absolutely wrong. There is no monster or something like that. He meets many “liliput” in the island. So, in this story, the character becomes a monster for the “liliput” society. That is a great imagination. We don’t even know the “liliput” does really exist or not.

            In the next journey, Gulliver is drifted ashore in another island. He feels something strange just like before in this island. But in this part, the character becomes the “liliput”. The inhabitants are as big as monster. He tries to escape. Finally, he can escape with a help from his “liliput” friend. They come back to the previous island to free other “liliput” who are jailed.

            During the journey, the viewers will be amused by some funny actions and stories from the characters. These funny actions emerge from the unpredictable part. The plots of the story are easy to follow and understandable. This film is suitable to spend your spare time. This film can relax your mind because this is not a serious film that needs our full concentration.

            This film asks us to use our logic. My logic mind directly refuses that it is really happen in our life. I can’t believe that “liliput” does exist. If you ask me to believe that there is dwarf, yes I can believe. But, you can’t force me to believe that “liliput” does really exist. I think, there is no tiny human in this world. I also can’t believe that there are monsters in this world. Everything I have seen in this world is normal in size. The tallest man in this world just has approximately 2 meters height.

            The writer of this film inspires the viewers to use their imagination freely. Here, the writer uses the imagination well. The writer makes a story that is very unique. You may also make a story using your own imagination. You may write a story about a man who can walk over the water without drowning, or something else. You can just watch this film and it will make your imagination to work.
